Celebrations on Geo Super restoration
LAHORE: A large number of Jang Workers Union on Wednesday celebrated the restoration of Geo Super transmission and termed it the victory of democracy, judiciary, media as well as 180 million people of Pakistan.
Participating in the ceremony held outside the Geo office Lahore, a large number of people from different walks of life and various political parties expressed solidarity with Geo and hailed the resumption of Geo Super transmission.
The ceremony was also attended by political leaders ñ including Dr Farid Ahmed Paracha, Najma Zahid, Ejaz Chaudhry. Showbiz figures, including Ghulam Mohi ud Din, film director Altaf Hussain and singer Atif Bulbula among others were also present. The staffers of Jang, The News and Geo, including Khawar Naeem Hashmi, Farrah Warraich and Wasim Babar also addressed the ceremony.
