CDGK starts Union Council Development Programme

Under this programme, development schemes worth Rs 9.6 million would be initiated to resolve problems in each union council related to basic civic amenities. City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal in his address in City Council had announced to start Union Council Development Programme and to initiate uplift schemes worth Rs 9.6 million in each union council of the city.

The Nazim had also highlighted the procedure of initiating development projects, for which a separate department under a senior engineer has been established with engineering staff at union council level. In this regard, the proposals of concerned union council nazim would be considered on priority basis.
