President approves amended Pemra bill

ISLAMABAD: President General Pervez Musharraf has given approval to the amended Pemra bill which was earlier approved by parliament. A gazette notification to this effect will be issued in a day or two. Newspaper owners will also be allowed to get licences for’ TV and radio channels under this bill.
