Cable television connection
PESHAWAR- The number of connections of newly introduced Cable TV Network in NWFP has reached around the figure of 12,000 during one year, according to Nisar Ahmad Khan, in charge of regional office, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
He said that though they have not the exact figures of connections, an estimated 12,000 connections were there.
He said during one year the PTA had issued 24 licences of 1,000 connection each in the province. Applications for few new licences is passing through the pipeline, he added.
Out of these 24 cable net works, 16 are operating in Peshawar, he informed.
