Cable operators to be given status of industry: Firdous
SIALKOT: Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Sunday said the status of industry would be given to cable operators. In a meeting with Cable Operators Association of Pakistan chairman Khalid Arain here, she said all problems being faced by cable operators would be resolved. The minister asked cable operators to adopt careful approach toward Indian channels. Khalid Arain assured the minister of full cooperation of his association and said cable operators would continue playing their due role in providing clean and healthy entertainment to viewers across the country.
