Cable office set ablaze

PATTOKI- A local World Cable, considered to be a sign of vulgarity, profanity and nudity, has been set ablaze.

A local World Cable being run by Sheikh Abdul Waheed and Raza projecting various channels to the city dwellers was attacked by some masked miscreants on January 30th, 2003. They tortured the proprietors and set the office on fire.

The Municipal Fire Brigade brought the fire under control after an hour of struggle, but the whole machinery was reduced to ashes rendering a loss of lakhs of rupees. The miscreants fled away after leaving the pamphlets exhorting them to stop profanity and nudity and establish prayer. The police are investigating.
