BNF women protest against arrests
QUETTA: The women wing of Baloch National Front organised a demonstration on Wednesday in protest against search operations and arrest of political workers.
They gathered outside the press club and raised slogans against the government.
Addressing the protesters, Dur Khatoon accused security forces of misbehaving with women and urged rights organisations to take notice of what she called atrocities against the Baloch people.
She said that the oppression and arrests would not force the Baloch people to give up their struggle against “usurpers and oppressors”.
Dur Khatoon said her party would continue its struggle to protect the coast and resources of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, Baloch Bar Association’s spokesman Sadiq Raisani claimed that on the call of the association and BNF lawyers boycotted court proceedings in Quetta and several district headquarters.
