Barrister Saif Administers Oath to Swabi, Karak Press Club Cabinets; Reaffirms Support for Journalists

Adviser to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information Barrister Dr. Muhammad Ali Saif administered the oath to the newly elected leadership of Swabi and Karak press clubs in a ceremony held in Peshawar.
At the Swabi Press Club event on February 28, Barrister Saif assured journalists of the government’s “unwavering commitment” to addressing their challenges. He pledged the government’s commitment to providing the necessary resources and facilities for journalists’ facilitation. He urged journalists to raise public issues responsibly while maintaining professionalism.
He also announced plans of the government to take steps towards establishing a media colony and allocate a dedicated office for the Swabi Press Club.
Barrister Saif also administered the oath to the Karak Press Club’s newly elected cabinet, stressing the media’s role in strengthening democracy. He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to supporting journalists through skill development and protecting their rights. He said that funds for journalists’ welfare would be used transparently.
Additional Secretary of Information and Public Relations Muhammad Hayat Shah, Director General Salim Khan, and others also attended the ceremony.
Karak Press Club President Khalid Khattak thanked the government and invited Barrister Saif to visit Karak to assess local challenges. The event, attended by senior officials, concluded with the presentation of an honorary shield to Barrister Saif.
