Attack on journalist condemned
KARACHI- President and Secretary of Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ), Sarfraz Ahmed and Tahir Najmi, have condemned attack on female journalist, Qudsia Khan, and demanded that the accused to be arrested.
In a statement the KUJ office bearers said that columnist of English daily Financial Post, Ms. Qudsia Khan, was heading for home from the office when some unidentified persons attacked her car. The car was damaged in the incident. A report was registered with the concerned police station, KUJ statement said adding that the accused have not been arrested so far. The KUJ office bearers while expressing concern on the incident, appealed to the higher authorities to take steps for provision of proper security of tbe journalist who was also being threatened on phone after the publication of some of the articles, KUJ statement added.
