Arrest warrant issued
QUETTA, (PPI): A division bench of the Balochistan High Court on Tuesday issued bailable warrant of arrest Editor-in-Chief of Daily Jang Mir Shakeel-ur-Rahman.
The bench, comprising Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Mr. justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmad, issued the warrants of arrest while hearing the contempt of court case against Jang for publishing objectionable statement against Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court Mr. Justice Amir mulk mengal. Mir Shakeel-ur-Rahman’s warrant of arrest was issued for not appearing in the court. The hearing was adjourned till April 12. Shakeel-ur-Rahman was represented by Kohli, advocate, while the provincial government was represented by Additional Advocate General Noor Achakzai.
