APNS grieved over The Post editor’s death
KARACHI: A meeting of the All Pakistan Newspapers’ Society’s periodicals press committee expressed condolences on Thursday over the sudden death of The Post Editor Adnan Shahid, the son of the Khabrain Group of Publications chief Zia Shahid.
The committee’s convener Dr Waqar Yousaf Azeemi presided over the meeting at the APNS office in Karachi. Adnan Shahid died of cardiac arrest in London on Friday at the age of 37. The committee also expressed grief over the death of Qazi Saeed Akbar, who served as the APNS president from 1971 to 1973.
