APNS, CPNE Faisalabad members call to lift ad ban

FAISALABAD — The APNS and the CPNE members from Faisalabad at an emergency meeting unanimously passed a resolution against the ban on government advertisements to the Nawa-i-Waqt and The Nation.

The Editor Daily Business Report Abdur Rashid Ghazi chaired the meeting, held at the office of Daily Business Report.

Ghazi while presenting the resolution said the whole nation was aware of the role played by Nawa-i-Waqt in the Pakistan movement. He demanded of the government to lift the ban immediately and release government advertisements to the Nawa-i-Waqt Group. All the 10 members of the CPNE and the APNS supported the resolution.

Those who signed the resolution are: Abdur Rashid Ghazi (Daily Business Report), Munir Gillani (Daily Paigham), Kanwar Tanveer Shaukat (Daily Ghareeb), Ateequr Rehman (Daily Tajarti Rahbar), Rizwan Saifi (daily Sadat), Sardar Abid Aleem (Daily Millat), Arshad Majid Anami (Daily Commercial News), Khalid Mehmood (Daily Soorat-i-Hal), Asghar Ali Tabassum (Daily Nia Ujala) and Zafar Dogar (Daily Express).
