ANP government to launch media campaign on its successes
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Mian Iftikhar Hussein has directed the Information Department to carry out a full-fledged special campaign for highlighting the achievements and success of five-year tenure of the present government so as the general public could be aware of it.
He issued these directives while chairing a high-level meeting of the Information Department at Peshawar, the other day. The meeting besides others was also attended by Secretary Information, Azmat Hanif Orakzai, Addl Secretary Information Faridullah Khan, Director Information Shuaib-ud-Din and Station Director Radio Pakhtunkhwa Zabita Khan Mohmand. The meeting thoroughly debated upon the silent features of the proposed campaign and decided that each and every means of publicity including print and electronic media and cellular service would be used for proper propagation of the government’s five-year performance.
It was also decided that a series of press briefing by ministers concerned and its administrative secretary of each nation building department would be formally initiated from December 7 this year on weekly basis.
