Another girls’ school blown up in Landi Kotal
LANDI KOTAL: Terrorists blew up another government girls’ primary school in the Khuga Khel area of Landi Kotal in the wee hours of Saturday.
The unidentified terrorists placed explosives outside the exterior wall of the girls’ school, which, when detonated, destroyed a 24-foot long section of the boundary wall and smashed windows panes of the school, an official source in the political administration said.
According to the source, only the school’s boundary wall was blown up in the attack and slight damages were caused to the widows. However, according to locals the blast also caused damage to the school’s rooms. The total number of government schools that have been partially or completely damaged in the ongoing war against terrorism reached eight in the Landikotal Zakha Khel and Shinwari areas.
