All set for cultural event in Bajuar
BAJAUR AGENCY – All arrangements have been finalised for the first ‘Bajaur Guloona Cultural Evening’ today (Friday), wherein local singers and poets would perform on popular local songs and present poetry.
Talking to media persons here at Khar, President Bajaur Students Organisation (BSO) Altaf Hussin said that the aim of the events of Bajaur Guloona was to highlight the popular aspects of culture of the agency, for which Bajaur was very famous. “We want to show the national community as well the international community that Baajuarian are the most peace living and civilize citizens of the country who having a good culture and music,” he said.Wali Muhammad, Qazi Azizul Haq, Kamran Khan, Aziz-ur-Rahman, Fazli Malik and others office bearers of BSO were also spook the press conference. “Its facts that the in recent past waves of militancy had badly affected the agency but it’s does not mean that its people supporting militancy,” they said.They said that in the past Bajaur was very well known for its peace and hospitality and because of that, Bajaur Guloona is still famous for love and peace in all over the country.They told that it would be the huge cultural function in the history of the agency in which hundreds of local elders.
Political leaders, Students and notable persons belong to different walk of life would be participate.“Local singers and poets would produce popular local songs and poetry while documentary about the agency will also present in the Bajaur Guloona Cultural evening,” they said.
