All Pakistan Newspapers Employees Confederation (APNEC) and Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) paid tributes to M.A Shakoor
The All-Pakistan Newspapers Employees Confederation (APNEC) chairman Abdul Hameed Chhapra and secretary-general Pervez Shaukat, Pakistan Federal Union of journalists president I.H. Rashed and secretary-general Fauzia Shahid have paid rich tributes to the late founder president of PFUJ M.A. Shakoor, for his sacrifices and struggle for the freedom of the press and better working conditions for journalists and other workers of the industry.
The Karachi Union of journalists (KUJ) has termed M.A Shakoor’s death an irreparable loss to the journalistic community.
In a statement, KUJ president Sarfaraz Ahmad and general secretary Tahir Najmi said that the sacrifices rendered by the late Shakoor for the cause of press freedom will never be forgotten.
