All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) assistant director passes away

KARACHI- Irshad Ahmad, assistant director, All Pakistan Newspapers Society, died of paralysis at Liaquat National Hospital after a short illness.

The Quran Khwani and Soyem for the deceased will he held on Monday October 9 after Asr prayers at Jama Masjid Umar Farooque Street No. 24 Azam Basti, Karachi.

The president and secretary general, APNS, Mir Shakeel-ur-Rahman and Arshad A. Zuberi have condoled the sudden demise of Irshad Ahmad who worked for almost 20 years in the APNS Secretariat with dedication and sincerity.

They prayed that God Almighty may rest his soul in peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.

Tanvir Ahmed, chief executive, APNS said: “We would remember Irshad Ahmad as a thorough gentleman and a valued associate who was always kind and helpful to us.”
