Akhbar Farosh stand by Jang Group: Tikka Khan

ISLAMABAD: The leaders of All Pakistan Akhbar Farosh Federation coming from across the country have pledged to keep good relations with Jang Group of Newspapers.
These views were expressed by Akhbar Farosh Union leaders from Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Hyderabad and other cities at a reception hosted by Universal Distribution Network (UDN), the distributors of Jang Group, for office-bearers of All Pakistan Akhbar Farosh Federation here. Executive Director Jang Group Abid Abdullah, Managing Director UDN, President All Pakistan Akhbar Farosh Federation Afzaal Shah, General Secretary Tikka Khan, Senior Vice President and Lahore President Chaudhry Nazir and others were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Abid Abdullah said the excellent relations between Jang Group and Akhbar Farosh community date back to the era of founder of Jang Group late Mir Khalil-ur-Rahman. He said ties between the two sides have significantly improved since the inception of UDN two years back.
Afzaal Shah also highlighted the services of Jang Group for akhbar farosh community. Tikka Khan said late Mir Khalil-ur-Rahman always took interest in solution to problems of the akhbar farosh community. He said Jang Group always saved Akhbar Farosh Union members from unemployment.
He said the services of Jang Group for democracy were unprecedented, adding this newspapers group is fighting the war of the country’s existence. He said the Akhbar Farosh community would always stand by the Jang Group in any crisis.
Chaudhry Nazir said efforts would continue for promotion of pleasant ties between the two sides. Presidents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi Akhbar Farosh Unions Chaudhry Muhammad Shafi and Abdul Aziz Satti also spoke on the occasion.
