Adviser gives cheque to HPC office-bearers
Karachi, Jan 22, Thursday: The Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Inquiries, Anti-corruption and Establishment Gul Muhammad Lot has said that the government is taking concrete measures for solve the problems of journalists. This he said on the occasion of giving a cheque of Rs25000 to office-bearers of Hyderabad Press Club at his office.
The cheque was received by the General Secretary Press Club Hyderabad Mahaish Kumar. Ex-presidents of the club Khalid Khokhar and Lala Reman Sammo were also present. The advisor recognized the efforts of journalists for democracy. He said the peoples of district Thar were facing difficulties in getting national identity cards. He said now on his request NADRA has decided to send specials teams to Deplo and Mthi to issue the cards to local people.
