PESHAWAR—Police on Sunday arrested the main accused involved in the killing of Tahir Hussain (pictured), a crime reporter with local English newspaper Frontier News in Peshawar.
Personnel of the Badaber Police Station arrested Ibrahim alias Khany who had fled from the crime scene. They recovered weapons including one Kalashnikov, pistol and rifle from his possession.
The journalist was gunned down on August 13, 2019, reportedly over a family dispute in the Jehangirpura neighborhood.
