5 arrested for blast at Nawa-i-Waqt
KARACHI- Karachi and Sukkur police have widened the sphere of investigations of Nawa-i-Waqt and The Nation office bomb blast incident.
In Karachi, police arrested a number of people involved in past bomb blasts including activists of AI-Zulfiqar Organisation. Sukkur police arrested one lqbal Pasha, a resident of Malir Karachi. On his pointation, police apprehended his four other accomplices identified as Rizwan, Raees, Khalil and Mahboob.
The investigation has been initiated from a nihari shop and Mehran Markaz in Sukkur, from where police received some information about the accused. It arrested more than a dozen suspects from various parts of the city including Mehran Markaz where it also found liquor from the room.
Karachi Police was tipped off that the bomb blast plan was made in Azim Goth in New Karachi area. The police continued their investigation.
The Police Department in Karachi has drawn the sketch of the woman killed in the blast on clues provided by the arrested persons in Sukkur.
