3rd Youth Festival from Nov 12
KARACHI: The Third Youth Festival will be organised in Karachi from November 12. This was announced by the Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs Faisal Ali Subzwari while chairing a meeting, on Saturday. The four-day event would be held under the auspices of the Sindh Department of Youth Affairs in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi.
Competitions in eight different categories would be organised during the Youth Festival and the winners would also be given cash prizes. The minister said that the Department of Youth Affairs has provided the youngsters a platform to exhibit their talent as well as abilities.
According to organisers, the last date for submission of forms for debate competition, ‘bait bazi’, theatre, quiz, handicrafts, textile and fashion designing and singing is November 8. The forms for paintings and singing competition can be submitted up to November 9.
