‘Not a single Urdu film produced this year’
ISLAMABAD: The Senate Standing Committee on Culture and Tourism expressed concern over degrading standards of the Pakistani films and observed that not a single Urdu film was produced this year.
The committee, which met at the Parliament House, directed the Film Censor Board and the Pakistan National Council of Arts to make efforts to revive the film industry.
The committee underlined the need for including more professional members in the task force, constituted for revival of the film industry and directed the quarters concerned to take appropriate steps in the regard.
