Zameer Niazi passes away
KARACHI – Veteran journalist Zameer Niazi passed away after protracted illness. He was 72. Late Zameer Niazi had strived hard for the freedom of speech and wrote a number of books on the subject. He was the father of a senior journalist Haris Zameer. The President and Secretary General of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), Haji Nawaz Raza and Sajid Aziz have condoled the demise of veteran journalist. Expressing profound grief over the great loss they prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul into eternal peace.
