Woman stabbed to death
Karachi: The unidentified body of a woman with multiple stab wounds was found from the Hub Chowki’s Hassan Peer.
Sub-inspector Hameed of Hub Chowki police station said that the law enforcers were informed about the murder by a constable in the area and the body was sent to the Civil Hospital Karachi’s mortuary.
“She looks like a 30-year-old and has multiple stab wounds on her face and torso. Though obviously it looks like a murder, we are waiting for the autopsy report of a medico-legal officer at CHK,” he said.
When contacted, an MLO at CHK said that the woman had been stabbed to death and there were no signs of a sexual assault.
“She was beaten up pretty badly before being stabbed and was left inside the home for four hours. When she was brought in, her wounds were still oozing blood,” the doctor informed.
