Woman shot dead by her brothers
JACOBABAD, April 24,2005: A woman was gunned down by her brothers on the pretext of karo-kari in the jurisdiction of Garhi Khairo police station on April 22. Hameedan, 25, wife of Munir Hussain Langah, was at her house when her brothers, Yousuf and Pathan, opened fire on her and fled from the spot. She died instantly.
Her body was shifted to the Civil Hospital of Jacobabad for post-mortem. Munir Langah, the husband of the deceased woman, has lodged an FIR with the Garhi Khairo police against Yousuf and Pathan.
