Woman commits suicide after refusal of marriage proposal
Karachi: A disheartened young lover committed suicide on Wednesday after the man of her dreams refused to marry her. Twenty-two-years Pooja hanged herself from a ceiling fan in her Mohabbat Nagar residence after an altercation with her parents, said Malir police.
When Pooja’s mother did not see her for a few hours, she went to look for her in her room but it was locked. She then called her brother-in-laws, who broke open the door only to find her body hanging.
The body was shifted to the JPMC for a post-mortem.
