Wage Board Tribunal asked to dispose of journalists cases
ISLAMABAD- Chief justice of Pakistan justice Irshad Hasan Khan asked the Wage Board Tribunal and the judiciary to dispose of petitions filed by the journalist at the earliest. Addressing the Chief Justices Committee meeting here the Chief justice said that he was well aware of the problems being faced by the journalist community. “I am well aware of journalists problems and these should be resolved at the earliest possible,” he said.
The Chief justice also lauded the role of media and its support and cooperation to the cause of judiciary. “Let met acknowledge, the support and cooperation of the media, both electronic and print, to the cause of judiciary,” he said. The Chief justice said that the (mediamen) have been conveying our message in a very effective manner. “I hope this cooperation will .continue in the future as well,” Justice Irshad Hasan said .
