Violence against workers condemned
KARACHI, May 13 2006: Senior Vice President, All Pakistan Trade Union Organization, Habib Junaidi has condemned the beating of Thatta and Dadu sugar mills workers by law enforcement agencies.
In a statement issued here, he also demanded that baton charge against the workers of these sugar mills should be investigated through a judge of the High Court. He said that the protest of laborers of the sugar mills was badly sup He appealed to political parties, laborer organizations and human rights association to take notice of the tragic incident.
