We
consider the issue of user privacy on the Internet enormously important.
Putting the needs of the audience above other concerns is especially
appropriate for journalists, who claim to work in the public interest.
Accordingly, we have tried to build this site around three ideas:
Disclosure, transparency and user control.
Our policy is this: We will not make any information you provide us, whether
as a PPF member, electronic newsletter subscriber, or as a user of this web site,
available to outside mailing lists or organizations. We will always disclose
as much as possible about where information comes from. We will try to correct
mistakes promptly. |
