Two killed over Karo-Kari
SUKKUR: Two poeple were killed while two were injured in two separate incidents relating to Karo-Kari on Sunday. Police said Atta Muhammad Brohi shot dead his wife Haseena and his brother Mir Muhammad on the allegation that they were maintaining illicit relations. The incident took place in village Jangal Khan in the area of Kubbo Saeed Khan. Police shifted the bodies to hospital but failed to arrest the killer.
In the other incident in Kot Diji town of Khairpur, Wasim Ahmad Mirani attempted to kill his Wife Saira on the charge of Karo Kari. The woman, however, survived and Ali Waris, the child in her lap, was also injured in the attack. Police shifted the injured to the Civil Hospital, Khairpur.
