Two held in honour killing case
TAXILA: Wah Cantonment police on Saturday arrested two brothers for killing their sister over honor and recovered her body from a deserted place in Attock.
Abida Bibi eloped with Risat Ali and contracted marriage with him against the will of her family. After marriage she was living at a rented house in Wah Cantt where her brothers identified as Anwar and Faraz traced her and killed her while her body was buried at a deserted place in Attock.
Risat Ali registered a case against the accused and police arrested them. The body of the deceased girl was also recovered.
PO ARRESTED: In another incident, police arrested two proclaimed offenders (PO) wanted in a murder case.
Those who were arrested were identified as Mohammad Farooq and Mohammad Ishaq residents of village Kamala Banian.
