Two CD shops blown up in Charsadda
CHARSADDA: Unidentified persons blew up two compact disc (CD) shops and damaged 26 others in a local market in Sardheri town, police sources said on Thursday.
The sources said the explosive device planted by unidentified persons at the CD shops selling music tapes in Mir Alam Market exploded at night. Two shops were destroyed while 26 others were partially damaged in the explosion, they added.
Following the explosion, the police reached the spot and collected pieces of evidence from the rubble. An official of the bomb disposal unit said that two kilograms explosives had been used in the blast.
