Hakimzadi, 28, Samina, 24, and Khadija, 19, daughters of Khadim Hussain Junejo, employee of the Sanghar Cadet College, took pesticide.

The neighbours took the girls to the basic health unit in Jam Nawaz Ali but there was no doctor there. Then the girls were taken to taluka hospital, Tando Adam, but they died before reaching there.

The mother of the victims had died several years back and their father had married again.

It is said that behaviour of the stepmother towards the girls was not good.

On the fateful day, the girls demanded Rs500 from their father who asked to them wait till he received salary. The already dejected girls took it seriously and committed suicide.
