Three killed over Karo-Kari
SUKKUR: Three persons, including two women, were killed on the pretext of Karo-Kari here on Saturday.A woman was shot dead by her brother in village Jamra in Lakhi Ghulam Shah police limits.
Accused Ameer Phulpoto suspected that his sister Hameeda was maintaining illicit relations with some one else and on this he shot her dead and fled. No case was registered
Separately, a woman and her alleged paramour were gunned down by her husband in village Yakhtiar Pitafi in Dad Leghari police limits near Mirpur Mathelo on Saturday.
Accused Shabaan alias Kandero Pitafi with the help of his accomplices shot his wife Zameeran dead and later went to the house of his sister and gunned down his nephew Mohammad Saleem and fled.
Mohammad Sharif Pitafi, father of Saleem has registered a case against four accused, including Shabaan Pitafi, Qadir Bukhsh Pitafi, Ghulam Ali Pitafi and Manthar Pitafi. Later, the police arrested two accused Qadir Bukhsh Pitafi and Manthar Pitafi. Raids were being conducted to arrest the remaining accused.
