Three female cops involved in prostitution sacked, LHC told

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court chief justice on Tuesday disposed of a suo motu case after the SSP Operation said that three lady police officials involved in prostitution had been terminated while a case had also been registered against the other delinquents.

Those who were terminated include Shaafey Bakhat Feroze (SI), Sitara Ahmad (Mohrar) and Nazish Rehman (Constable). While lady constable Sundas Sana was given warning and a case was registered against Rana Shafqat Shahzad, Yasin and others, the SSP told the court.

Another lady constable Zara Mehmood allegedly involved in the prostitution was exonerated from the charges. The chief justice had taken the notice on a news item published in a national daily about the involvement of lady police officials in prostitution under the supervision of high ranking police officers.
