Three Daily Times’ employees robbed
KARACHI: Unidentified armed robbers near Saifulllah Bangash area of Nazimabad robbed three employees of Daily Times on late Monday. The incident took place 4:00am when three Daily Times’ employees namely Mohammad Ali Sammo, Islahuddin Ansari and Kamaluddin, were returning to their homes from workplace. As they reached near Saifullah Bangash, at least three armed men stopped them and later looted their cell phones, cash and other valuables on gunpoint.
Sammo told that at the incident site, a police mobile is stationed on daily basis. “Police stopped us by using torchlight for snap checking. In the same way armed men stopped us,” he said. “They saw us while we were being checked by the police.”
