Three booked over fake rape case
OKARA, July 01 2006: The Gogera police on June 30 booked a man and his two daughters for registering a false case of abduction and rape against their rival kin. Reportedly, Mahabat Ali Jat of the village 26/GD had a case registered with the police some time back accusing Muhammad Akbar Jat, Arshad, Ashraf, Shahadat, Yasin and Hanif Allah Ditta of abducting and raping his daughters – Kaniz Bibi and Shahida Bibi. Later, the Supreme Court of Pakistan acquitted the accused of all the charges. On this, Muhammad Akbar got a case of Qazaf registered against Mahabat, Kaniz and Shahida with the police.
