Renowned television artist Fakhr-e-Alam tendered his resignation as chairman of the Sindh Film Censor Board owing to personal reasons on Monday. Fakhr-e-Alam submitted his resignation to Chief Minister (CM) Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah for approval. The resignation of Fakhr-e-Alam comes just days after he led a protest of leading television and film artists in Karachi calling for their personnel security following the shocking murder of renowned qawali singer Amjad Farid Qadri.
