Sindh Culture Festival postponed

KARACHI: The Sindh Culture Festival, being jointly organised by the Arts Council of Pakistan (ACP) and Sindh Culture Department on May 18-20, has been postponed due to uncertain law and order situation of the city, Daily Times has learnt.

ACP Karachi president Ahmed Shah, when asked about the festival, said that though no decision had been made so far in this regard, the organisers were reviewing the dates of the festival due to uncertainty in regard with law and order related issues, including targeted action in Lyari and its possible backlashes.

The festival would feature Sindh Artists Exhibition-2012, seminars, cultural evenings, book launching ceremonies, cultural performances and other vivid activities.
