Sharmila congratulates new Karachi Press Club body
KARACHI: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh on Media and Auqaf Sharmila Faruqui has congratulated newly elected office-bearers of Karachi Press Club (KPC) on their successful election of KPC for 2012-13.
Sharmila expressed hope that newly elected KPC office-bearers would continue their efforts for the betterment of their community and strengthening democratic institutions, said a statement issued on Tuesday.
She said democracy and journalism go together and government firmly believes in freedom of expression. She assured them her full cooperation.
