Seminar on ‘Impact of Indian media on Pakistani culture’

A seminar on ‘Indian media and its impact over Pakistani culture’ was held recently at Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari Institute of Technology (Kasbit).

The famous drama artist and comedian Ayaz Khan was the chief guest.

A large number of Kasbit students and teachers attended the seminar.

On the occasion, Ayaz Khan, addressing in his typical style said that “while imitating Indian media, we had forgotten our identity.”

He said there are big differences between our cultures and the children of ages between 10 to 16 years are being affected by Indian media rapidly because of their immature mind.

Not only this but several Indian dramas are also affecting our domestic environment.

He said it was the era when only Indian films were the cause of curse in our society but now their channels are also affecting our youths.

He stressed that we must adopt our Pakistani culture and be proud on our dramas and artists too, and asked youth to adopt the profession of acting but don’t give it priority.

Kasbit teachers Wakil Qazi and Karamat Ullah Hussaini also spoke on the occasion.
