Scholars pay rich tribute to Dr Abdul Jabbar

HYDERABAD: Scholars while paying rich tribute to noted scholar Dr Abdul Jabbar Junejo, said that Dr Junejo contributed a lot for Sindhi language and literature; he was a man of multi qualities and was an expert of various languages as well as music.

In a condolence meeting organised by the Department of Sindh, Dr Noor Afroz Khwaja, Dean of Arts Faculty said that Dr Junejo was a peace loving and he always avoided from conflicts. She said that truth and dedication were practical qualities of Dr Junejo and he never backed from his these qualities. Dr Marhab Qasmi said that Dr Junejo was a very honest scholar and researcher and he always used to help others. Highlighting aspects of life of Dr Junejo, Taj Joyo said that he was a man of multi qualities, scholar of caliber and knowledgeable of various languages.

Dr Mahmood Mughal speaking on this occasion paid rich tribute to Dr Junejo on his services in the Sindh University as well as Sindhi literature and Sindhi language. Dr Sahar Imdad said that Dr Junejo devoted his life serving the Sindhi language and literature and he contributed without any return from the society or the government. Dr Muhammad Qasim Bughio said that Dr Junejo has written history of Sindhi literature and it was really a singular honour of Dr Junejo.

Inam Shaikh said that Dr Junejo was a very practical and he lived life by working continuously. He was a man of unique personality. Dr Parveen Shah, Pro Vice-Chancellor while presiding over the meeting highlighted literary services and services in the University rendered by late Dr Junejo.
