Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) staffers deprive hawkers of their bicycles

RAWALPINDI- Newspapers Hawkers have strongly protested over highhandedness of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board anti encroachment staffers for depriving them of their bicycles during their operation clean up at Sadar.

This campaign is aimed at finishing poor and it has nothing to do with those encroachers, who have set up encroachments before their plazas and shops as they pay monthlies to high-ups of this operation, said a hawker, while pointing to innumerable and large sized illegal extensions occupied by opulent traders with faces radiating with vanity.

We all are from extremely lower middle strata of society and most of us are employed as class four government employees and adopted this job as part time as we cannot cope with our family requirements in merger income and constrained to do this job of selling newspapers on bicycles, Said a group of hawkers.
