Rape victim and family move out of their village
KHAIRPUR: Faiz Mohammad Khand, father of rape victim Asma Khand, has said that he has migrated from his village Kamal Khan Khand, Faiz Ganj taluka, due to non-cooperation of authorities concerned.
He said his daughter Asma and other family members were receiving life threats and they were being pressured by some influential people of the area to compromise with the rapists.
He told journalists on cell phone on Friday that due certain pressure and non-cooperation of police, he preferred to leave his native village where his family had been living for generations.
He said that he belongs to a poor family but would continue his struggle until he got justice.
He said that after migration his family was facing hardship as they were now almost disconnected from rest of the society.
He said that rights activists have contacted his family and offered help for justice. Asma has accused one of his school teachers and his two friends for trapping her for gang-rape.
