Radio channel restarts transmission

LAHORE — A private radio channel restarted after two weeks its regular transmission on November 27.

The police had on November 12, taken control of the FM 103 premises and arrested two of its staffers. The action was reportedly taken in response to a case registered against the radio channel under Section 16 of the Maintenance of Public Order.

A press release issued by the radio channel said the transmission restarted after it management and the Punjab government agreed to reach and out-of-court settlement.
