Pushto TV channel transmission from July 19
PESHAWAR – Pushto satellite television channel Audiovisual Technology Khyber on July 16 started its three — day live transmission, which would be followed by regular transmission from July 19.
The channel’s assignment editor Umer Farooq told newsmen at the launching of the live transmission on July 16 night at the press club that the regular transmission would be broadcast from 6pm to 11.30pm daily and the programmes would be re — telecast from 11.30pm for the viewers in Middle East.
He said the channel had started its rest transmission on July 1.
He said entertainment and current affairs programmes would be aired on the channel.
A producer at the channel, Mehmood Jan Babar, said Pushto ranked 42nd among the 8,000 dialects spoken worldwide.
