Publication of objectionable literature banned
ISLAMABAD- The District Administration has banned the distribution, publication, printing of objectionable literature, handbills, playing objectionable cassettes containing provocative speeches and affixing posters under Section 144 Cr.P.C. with immediate effect in the Federal Capital for a period of two months.
Deputy Commissioner, Islamabad Tariq Mahmood Khan has directed all Assistant Commissioners/ Magistrates and Sub Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) to ensure strict implementation of order in their respective jurisdictions and take immediate legal action against those violating the law.
