Prime Minister announces Rs 1m for family of slain journalist
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Tuesday announced a financial assistance of one million rupees for the family of slain journalist Abdul Haq Baloch.
The prime minister was talking to Senator Rehman Malik, Federal Minister for Interior who called on him at the Prime Minister House and discussed the current security situation with special reference to law and order situation prevailing in Balochistan.
The prime minister inquired about the details of the incident that led to the murder of Abdul Haq Baloch in Khuzdar recently. The minister for interior also apprised the prime minister about the details of his visits to Maldives and United Kingdom.
