Police officer accused of raping girl
JACOBABAD: A 14-year-old girl was raped allegedly by a police officer on Saturday. Sub-Inspector Mir Hassan Gajani, resident of Bagan Baba Colony, Dera Allahyar, Jaffarabad distirct, entered the house of his neighbour Muhammad Siddique and raped his daughter Hakim Zadi, who was alone in the house, and fled, leaving the girl in an unconscious state, the girl’s father said. Talking to The News, Siddique said when he entered his home he saw his daughter lying on the floor unconscious. He said he immediately took her to the District Headquarters Hospital, Jaffarabad, where she was in stable condition. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
